"I started playing on moodle last june [2006] and never have left. The reason being is the cool guys n girls on this server. ... Sure made me and Mrs. popeye feel welcome. Hats off to ya moodlers!"
- Popeye"Moodle is everywhere; it is all around us. Even now, in this very forum. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes.
"Actually it's where we game, where we get to business without any of the lameness you may find in your pub'ing adventures. Leave your 'BS' and 'fag' macros at the door, and bring in your game, and we'll get along splendidly. This is a place where high quality players get comfortable and have fun."
- muleKick"I want my gaming life to be something that I don't feel embarrassed telling those in my real life about. If I have a community to game with, if I'm building something, if I have a goal... then I feel it's time well spent. If I just mindlessly play video games, alone in the dark, it would seem to me to be a negative force in my life.
"A wise mule once said that there are two types of 'clans,' those who just like to play games with each other, and those out for competition. We're a 'community' and I'd like to think that have room for both attitudes and can achieve them equally."

Commonly Offered Questions
Q: Is Moodle a clan?
A: Not in the usual sense. We are a gaming community foremost.
Q: Do we play in scrimmages, matches or tournaments?
A: Playing to win can be fun! Our Day of Defeat folk have done lots of scrimmaging,
and are active
in CAL. If you're looking to challenge us, let us know. (For DoD:
Ich)
Q: Are we recruiting?
A: In a sense, Yes. There is no recruitment process, per say. To be accepted
by the community is just like being accepted to any social group. Here are things
to think about:
We are always ready to welcome good people, because good people are fun to play with and against. If you're a regular, we probably already know you.
We pay attention to people's attitude first and most. We have been playing online games for a long time, and have little patience for whiny, conceited, rude, obnoxious, immature gamers. Did we mention whiny? Oh yeah, we did!
Flip these around for what we look for most. Those who are quiet, humble, polite, friendly and mature. No, we don't expect you to be a perfect angel who doesn't swear or get angry, and says yessir and nosir. Just "Be Nice." There are many places on the internet to be a belligerent douche-b. If that's what you need to do for fun then please go find one of those places.
