The Donations Page

It's always been our philosophy at MoodleWeb to have full disclosure about everything, but especially when it comes to the financial matters. It's a leap of faith to give hard earned dollars to faceless internet people, so we are always sure to document and publish when we receive any donation. By being public with our finances (both earning and spending) we hope to reassure everyone that the money was received and -- in the same good faith it was given -- is being used for the benefit of all.

You may view our up-to-date financial report >HERE<.

More about your donations

Q: How exactly does it work?

A: Donations are made directly to a PayPal account operated by the MoodleWeb chief financial officer. (CFO)

For Ventrilo and Game servers, this same account is used for the recurring payments to Nuclear Fallout, our server hosting company. If there is not enough money in PayPal to cover the costs, the remainder would withdraw from the CFO's real-life personal bank account. In this way, your donations go directly towards the server fees.

All donations currently go to the same PayPal account, though we may at time have seperations for clarity and tracking. Excess funds are generally not spent, but kept for future costs.

Q: Why do the Vent/Game servers cost so much?

A: Unless otherwise specified, we rent servers from Nuclear Fallout, and the cost you see is what we are paying for them.

Q: Why do you rent from Nuclear Fallout then?

A: Their customer service is outstanding and their product is top-notch. They provide custom web-tools, easy billing, and a live-chat that is actually answered. (For real.) You can visit their site, nfoservers.com to read all about it.

Q: I have questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, ideas, non-monetary donations, alternative payment needs, problems, needs, wants, deepest desires, stories, grievances, hugs, and lots of other things, and I don't know what to do!

A: We are very happy to hear it! Please contact us right away: Email us (forwards to several officers), send Ich a Forum PM, find us on Vent or Steam or some other chat service, email any of us directly, or just post in Forums. Pretty much any way you can get our attention, go for it.
